The next few projects were directed and developed by me, with tons of help from an amazing team. These projects showcase both my project management skills and my experience in PR and communication. I've thoroughly enjoyed finding the intersection between arts, culture, and social impact through these experiences.

100 Red Questions

Social campaign that aims to alleviate period poverty in Ecuador.

In the first stage of the campaign, we aimed to raise awareness of the problem and educate about menstruation through social media via Tiktoks/Reels, BTL activities at a local university campus, and a media tour. In the second stage, we held menstrual education workshops for girls aged 10-15 and their mothers in poor communities on the coast of Ecuador and then donated a sustainable menstrual management kit with 3 period panties per girl.

Results: 14 media appearances with more than 45k in free press, around 7k USD raised, 4 sponsors, and 58 girls benefitted in the first set of workshops.

Indigenous Digital Voices

PR campaign to distribute results of a research project on indigenous TikTok creators in the Americas

The research project aimed to understand the underlying effects of indigenous people's content on TikTok on both creators and consumers. It was found that content created by this minority empowers young indigenous people who see themselves and their cultures represented in a digital space. We distributed these results through a Digital PR campaign.

Results: 19 media appearances within 5 countries with more than 7k in free press, and social media engagement increase by 174%.

Femininjas Masterclass

Self-defense masterclass for women for the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women. Fundraising event for an ONG that works for victims of sexual abuse.

The event's purpose was to raise funds for an ONG that works for victims of sexual exploitation and for the creation of a music video that showcases the violence against women reality in Ecuador. To promote the event, we held a media tour. We also managed sponsors. It was broadcasted live on Youtube.

Results: 10 media appearances, over 2k USD raised and 5 sponsors.
